The Resistance are a dedicated Faction of Zionist Redpills whose sole purpose is to free every human mind and destroy The Matrix.

TR believes that the uneasy peace between the humans and the machines is only a trick on the machines part to keep us under control and to keep The Matrix thriving. TR believes in freedom for all human beings so they can see the truth and to one day abolish The Matrix and the machines themselves so humans can take their rightplace place as leades of the planet Earth once again.

As you have read, The Resistance will be a Zionist Faction only for only the most hardcore players. The dominant playstyle of The Resistance will mostly be fighting the fight against The Machinists and those associated with The Merovingian (PvP). However, TR also enjoys a heavy role playing (RP) style of play along with this, as well as being interested in missions for the Zionists and the overall story that will develop with The Matrix Online.
