Welcome back red pill. It's time again for another MxOS exclusive contest, and this time we're going all out. We've got prizes for first, second and third places and we know you're going to be excited about them.
But before we tell you what we're going to give you, let's discuss what you need to do to earn them. As many of you surely know, the big buzz around the MxO community right now is about the pre-order. So, here at MxOS we're going to feed the anticipation with our "Design the Box Art for The Matrix Online" contest. We're asking you to fire up whatever graphics program you have, from MS Paint to Adobe Photoshop and design the cover art for The Matrix Online. As with our other contests, we're looking for your creativity rather than judging on technical proficiency. We're also looking for any entry you come up with, serious or humorous. You can go for slick and cool or hysterically funny, it doesn't matter.
So, that's a tall order, creating a design for a video game box. What do you get for it? Well, the first prize is a big one. Collin Chou, better known to Matrix fans as Seraph has provided an autographed 8 x 10 of himself for our first place winner. According to Mr. Chou, these 8 x 10s are very rare, as he usually provides smaller or different headshots for fans. Think of how impressed your friends and family will be when a hand-signed headshot of Seraph himself shows up on your wall! For our second prize, Stephen Faller has provided a signed copy of his book "Beyond the Matrix: Revolutions and Revelations". This great exploration of the concepts and philosophy of the Matrix will be personalized by Mr. Faller and mailed directly to our second place winner. We'll have an interview with Stephen Faller up soon, so you can read more about his ideas and his book. And for our third place winner, we'll be sending out a copy of "Matrix Warrior: Being The One" by Jake Horsley. This personal favorite of our Content Manager, PhroG, is a truly unique and original take on the Matrix films. It is amassing a following, especially because it not only purports that we are indeed in a Matrix right now, but outlines how to be a warrior inside, and how to get out.
Well, that's it folks. Head on over to the forum we've set up for this, discuss your ideas, and get cracking. Share your vision for the cover art of The Matrix Online and win some great prizes! This contest is now over! See if you've won here and then make sure to view all the entries in our contest forum.
